China Compulsory Certification (CCC Certification)

In December 2001, the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China（AQSIQ）issued the Regulations for Compulsory Product Certification.  The Compulsory Product Certification System began to replace the original Quality License System for Commodity Inspection and Safety Certification System for Electrical Equipment. The abbreviation of China Compulsory Product Certification is CCC or 3C.  It is the statutory compulsory safety certification system and the basic approach to safeguard the consumers’ rights and interests and protect the personal and property safety.

The Products subject to Compulsory Product Certification includes household appliances, low-voltage appliances, motor vehicles, safety glasses, medical devices, cables and wires, toys...etc.

Guangdong Quality Testing CTC Certification Co., Ltd.(CTC), which is subsidiary to Guangdong Testing Institute of Product Quality Supervision (GQI), is designated by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China(CNCA)as a certification organization for China Compulsory Certification (CCC), its designated certification scope covering electric wires and cables, low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, low-voltage components and parts, and lighting electrical appliances.
