Recently,delegation ofVietnam Leather Footwear andHandbag Association (LEFASO) led by Mrs.Phan Thị Thanh Xuan,theVice President,visitedGQI.Mr.Yao Lianghong,DeputyGeneral Manager of Guangdong Research Institute of testing Inspection and Certification Group(CTIG),along with heads of theLightIndustry Products, Textiles & Garments Testing Department andBusiness Department ofGQI participated in themeeting.

Mr.Yao Lianghong warmly welcomed Ms. Phan ThịThanh Xuan and her delegation. Both sides briefly introduced qualification capacity, business scope and development of their respective organizations, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges regarding the testing standards, testing items, market access principles and market regulation of leather footwear products. Both sides agreed that with the further deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam, the two organizations  should strengthen the cooperation and exchanges, jointly promote the quality improvement of footwear products, and serve the healthy and sustainable development of import and export trade of footwear products industry in China and Vietnam.

During the visit, Mrs. Phan Thị Thanh Xuan and her delegation also visitedGQI labs of LightIndustry Products in Textiles & Garments Testing Department and highly affirmedthe progress in the  laboratories.
