Introduction of ENEC mark

ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) is a certification scheme under CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization). ENEC mark as a safety mark for electrical products is now more than 20 years old and accepted throughout Europe. Since CE marking is self-declared and does not require independent testing, ENEC mark from a qualified 3rd party institute has attained increasingly trust from customer, comparing to the mandatory CE marking.

ENEC Mark Scheme procedures constitute a full certification scheme (ISO Type 5).This includes:

l Third party testing and certification

l Annual factory inspection

l Ongoing product and production monitoring

l Visible use of ENEC Mark logo on products

l Regular marketplace monitoring of the ENEC Mark
