Shunde testing base covers an area of nearly 66,700 square meters, with its building areas of 26,800 square meters. Its testing scopes cover 28 categories of products with more than 1690 items, such as furniture, solar photovoltaic products, food, paints, chemicals, electrical appliances, and machinery.

Shunde testing base is equipped with a lot of domestically and internationally advanced testing apparatuses and equipment. Among them, the high-resolution magnetic mass spectrometer, and the complete set of equipment for qualitative and quantitative detection of transgenic constituents, which are in the possession of Guangdong Quality Supervision and Testing Station for Gene Modification Food and Food Poisonous Element, can detect those organic pollutants in food with a long-period impact on environment, such as dioxins, and detect transgenic constituents in food.
